	Topeka Jazz Workshop Band, Inc., founded in 1961, is the oldest, continually operated, community-based Big Band Jazz Orchestra in the nation!   From thumping original numbers, to tried and true jazz , to big band swing sounds, the Topeka Jazz Workshop Band brings that awesome sound to the Capital City.   Come see us at one of our public concerts, or book the band for your private event!

The Topeka Jazz Workshop Band is active with Topeka youth

The Topeka Jazz Workshop Band established and operates the Topeka Youth Jazz Program which provides jazz education and performance opportunities for middle school and high school student musicians in and near Topeka.

Over the years, hundreds of talented young musicians have received scholarships and attended great jazz camps around the country thanks to this exceptional program.
